Northern Ohio InfraGard Scholarship

It is with great pleasure that the Northern Ohio InfraGard Members Alliance wishes to announce the first ever InfraGard scholarship competition. This is a great accomplishment for our organization and we can take pride in the fact we are able to give a monetary donation to deserving scholar. Applicants must have their application sponsored by an InfraGard member in good standing. The current plan is to award two $500 scholarships to applicants selected from the applicant pool by the scholarship committee.

We will begin accepting applications on May 1st, 2010. Applications and attachments must be down loaded and mailed. Information on mailing is on the website. All applications must be postmarked by July 15th, 2010. The winners will be notified by August 1st, 2010. Applications are available from the InfraGard website.

We would like to introduce the winners at the September membership meeting if they are able to attend.

  • Our mission is to create a Scholarship Program that will grant financial aid to students pursuing careers in the information or computer security field and related pursuits
  • To determine all details of applicant eligibility and requirements for admission
  • To objectively review all entries received and make a non-prejudice assessment of all applicants measured against the stated requirements of the program
  • Select an individual to award the scholarship money
