Risk & IT Governance
Most IT risks arise not from technical or low level people issues but from the failure of the enterprise's oversight and governance processes for IT. The business needs to get involved. For risk to be understandable, it must be expressed clearly.

Michael Thomas, General Manager, SecureData 365
Mike's 30+ years of experience includes multiple disciplines in IT for large Fortune 200 organizations. As the CISO and Director of IT Security for two Fortune 200 companies, Mike led the implementation of technical security and the risk strategy functions. He led efforts to build secured e-commerce implementations for online sales, pioneered the use of digital signatures on the net, and delivered compliant systems under new regulations and codes such as SOX and PCI.

What a Waste
In this presentation Tom will discuss the issues of electronic waste including:

2. Electronic waste concerns
3. Option for electronic waste
4. What you should expect to see in the near future

The Executive Council invites you to attend our next InfraGard chapter meeting on Friday August 14th. This meeting is a special members only meeting held at the FBI Cleveland Division's office. We are currently working on the agenda which will include briefings from FBI agents including case studies. You won't want to miss this meeting.

Please see the following requirements which must be met in order to attend the meeting:

Registration required

Must be an InfraGard member, recently applied for membership, or graduate of Citizen's Academy

No cameras of any kind or laptops will be permitted

No weapons permitted (of course)

The Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) facility is located in Richfield Ohio which is in-between Akron and Cleveland off I-77.

5. Then a quick right at the first street on right turn in
6. OPOTA is 1st building on your right (red brick 1-story)

From the South (Akron, Stark County, etc):
1. North on I-77
