InfraGard Student Program
The InfraGard Student Program is designed to give college students 18 years of age and older, and enrolled in a Criminal Justice or Information Security Management program the opportunity to join the InfraGard Northern Ohio Members Alliance and experience opportunities for personal, academic and professional growth. The program will be open to students from schools with Information Security Management, Criminal Justice or a related security discipline major, and current InfraGard members. Applying to the InfraGard Student Program
Only InfraGard members may participate in the Student Program. To join the InfraGard organization, complete the application found at this link: INFRAGARD MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM (click here). Membership is FREE. InfraGard membership requires passing a background check that includes: criminal history and FBI database checks. The background check is free and is performed by FBI personnel. The results are kept strictly confidential. If you have a current federal security clearance, the background check is waived. This process could take awhile so please allow a few weeks for processing.
To Participate in the InfraGard Student Program: (Both students and professionals are encouraged to join the Student Program)

- When we receive your form we will review it and a member of the Student Program Committee will contact you.

STUDENT PROGRAM PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Every participant in the program must be an InfraGard member in good standing (students & professionals). Students and InfraGard Academic Coordinators must join InfraGard (complete the application process) to participate in the program. All student and faculty members will have a free background check performed by the FBI prior to being admitted as a member. (Required for admittance into InfraGard)
- Each school that wants to participate must assign an InfraGard Academic Coordinator to work with our Student Committee Representatives. This person should have the authority to be the point person and spokesperson for the college, as well as have the support of the school administration.
- The school's InfraGard Academic Coordinator and the InfraGard chapter will be expected to collaborate on developing a value-add model for student membership that will benefit the student, the school and the InfraGard alliance.
- Each school may have their own program for membership and run their own events, but it must be coordinated with the NEO InfraGard Members Alliance.
- Student members and InfraGard members who wish to participate in the program should complete the InfraGard Student Program Application form and submit it according to the instructions on the form. Once the application is received it will be reviewed by the Student Program Committee.
- Students and Professionals will be paired according to areas of study, security disciplines and needs.
